Flu season is quickly approaching and, when combined with COVID-19, presents another challenge to public health. Because many of the symptoms of flu and COVID-19 are similar, it is hard to tell the difference between them based on symptoms alone. It is critically important that we all do our part to stay healthy and prevent the spread of illnesses, both within our campus and throughout our community. The best way to prevent getting the flu is to receive an annual flu shot. 

Please read the important information as it relates to the on-campus flu clinic: 

• Appointments are required for this flu shot clinic. To book your appointment, please click on the link below, select your desired date and choose any available time slot. Note:  If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel it in advance, to allow the slot to become available for someone else.  Schedule My Flu Shot Appointment 

• Please complete the Flu Consent Form and bring it with you to your appointment.  

• There is no charge for this service for those using their medical insurance. CVS will bill your insurance for the cost. So please ensure to bring your insurance card to your flu appointment.  Cash will be accepted for those who would rather not file with their insurance.  

• All employees who receive a flu shot (on or off campus) by October 7 will be entered into a RAFFLE to win an Apple Watch!  Employees scheduled for a flu shot on-campus will be automatically entered.  Those of you who receive a flu shot at a different location, can enter by completing this google form and submitting supporting documentation to the HR Partners team by COB October 7.  All employees, except those who work in HR, are eligible to enter to win.

*Please note*:  If you are not on campus during the flu shot clinic, please review the UHC eligible pharmacy list where you can go to obtain your flu shot and submit to insurance.
